Materialism

Fraying Fabric

What would a fabric be
if many of its threads were loose?
A community full of individuals
No longer functions
Societies that accept narcissism
Must welcome fractures in their civilization
Couples who impose selfishness
Expect to separate
No matter where we are on Earth
Hot, cold and temperate
The Sun sustains us all
Culture and climate are irrelevant

When Union is what binds the Cosmos Together

Beyond Black Nothingness

Imagine nothingness…
I didn’t say close your eye lids
And stare at their inner skin
For even nihilists may analyze
The black oblivion
And hear their own mind’s voice
ponder some form or another
Now which pleasure and agony
Does your body feel
And who is denying liquidation and cleansing?
Randomness, so creation seems
But such odds are predictable
According to infinity
Dare place a wager on significance
Chances are that desire and expectation
Blinds your true purpose and meaning

So what investments will be lost forever?
