Communion

Communion

I deny aliens of their existence,
Because foreigners are really neighbors in disguise.
Tell me, what is so strange about strangers and the estranged?
When an outsider is let in, close with affinity,
What do you call them?
Exotic fruits from far away become sweetly familiar,
The more you savor their taste.
After a while, a descendant even forgets their own origin.
Here and now, there and tomorrow, evolution is inevitable.
Segregation will only be perpetual, with the inertia of opposition.
Inner conflict, both yours and mine, fuels the surrounding inferno.
My friend, harmony compels me to proclaim Universal citizenship.
For Our bodies, are all native, to some beautiful cosmos and beyond.
Akin as one family, to love in union.

Amicably yours, I surrender contradiction.
